This morning — Thursday, December 4th, 2025 — Mr. Buckles’ Economics class at Rhea County High School, long-time attendees of the monthly Vets and Kids breakfast, partnered with Mr. Pendergrass to host a special fundraiser breakfast for the program.
From 7:00–8:00 AM, students welcomed guests, served food, and helped raise support for an organization that not only provides scholarships to RCHS students, but also carries out many meaningful projects in the community to support students and kids throughout Rhea County.
These students were determined to give back, and their hard work paid off. There was a great turnout, the food was excellent, and everyone left happy.
We were honored to have several special guests join us, including Dr. Amie Lonas, Director of Rhea County Schools, along with many others who came out to show their support.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible. Your support means so much to our veterans, our students, and the entire Rhea County community. We look forward to doing it again soon!
